God
We believe that God is the Creator, Source, Sustainer, and Sovereign of all creation. He is just and holy, merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in love and faithfulness.
“‘I am the Lord , and there is no other; apart from me there is no God. I will strengthen you... ‘”
Jesus
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, through Him all things were created and through Him the character of God is revealed. His death and resurrection secure our salvation.
“‘Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges ; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. ‘”
Bible
We believe the Bible is God's message given to us, through people who were divinely inspired. It tells us who God is, where we came from, how much God loves us, and how we can live out His love in our own lives.
“‘All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.’”
Salvation
We believe that we are saved from sin. It is the gift of God that anyone can receive through faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
